You know we like you to read our blog, but we also want to encourage you to exercise and play outside!  But what if you don't know what to do?  What if you are....BORED?  (dun dun dun)
I have a suggestion for you.  There are lots of fun activities to do EVERY season...even winter!!
Some activities for every season are listed below:
Winter
Skiing.  Maddison and I both LOVE to ski!
Making snow angels.  It's fun, it's vigorating, and it shows off your creativity!!
Making a snowman.  This also shows off creativity and it makes you stronger!!!

Spring
Jump roping!  Some people think it's just for little girls, but it is fun and GOOD EXERCISE!!!
Roller blading.  There are lots of places to go roller blading, and you can improve your speed in everything you're good at!
Bike Riding!  It is awesome, and you can be odd while doing it.

Summer!!!
Swimming...builds muscles, is FUN, and refreshes you on a hot day.
ANYTHING IN SPRING!!!
Squirt gun fighting!  Like swimming, refreshes you on a hot day, and you exercise your strategic thinking.

Fall
ALMOST anything in spring, as long as it's warm.
Walking a dog.  Even if you don't happen to own one, you can always go to your local humane society and help them out!
LEAF CATCHING!!!!!  Okay, even I admit it sounds weird.  But seriously!  You can run fast and it improves focus!  If you can focus on a leaf, you can focus on anything!  Good exercise and is very fun!  In fact, I was just leaf-catching myself!  Me and my friends caught FORTY-ONE leaves!  We are odd, all right!  YOU CAN BE, TOO!!!

Hey!

This is Madison again. I know this will make Ashley mad, but I spelled swimming wrong on purpose. But what do i have to say but that I am the coolest, so i have a licence to spell things wrong. I'm bad to the bone!

Anyways, lets get onto today's subject. Just keep swimming.... well what can i write about that? I got it. Ok so I'm on a swim team, right? Its a high school swim team. So i am on this swim team right, and i am going to go and swim tomorrow. I am nervous. Know why? I am nervous, cuz i might make it to state, but it all depends. I would have made it last time, but let met tell you a story about this here.

Before i begin, here's a little swimmers vocabulary.

50: Down and back the length of the pool

free: term short for freestyle, or frontcrawl. Most common swimming stroke

Flip turn: Where one flips underwater and pushes off the wall when turning in a swim meet

Ok, so now that you're informed, here's what i have to say. I was swimming a 50 free in the last swim meet before divitionals. So i am swimming, and then i am about to do a flipturn. I flip, no problem. But then when i am about to push off the wall again, only my toes touch. I just pushed off! My non flip turn cost me 5 seconds of fumbeling around trying to find the wall. I didnt make it to state, which would have not happened if i would have done better than my 32. I have gotten a 29 before, and i know i could have beaten it. But man, it sure felt bad to know that i could have made it and didnt.

So now, the pressure is on. I have to make it this swim meet tomorrow, or i dont go to state. The pressure sure is on. Ok well i talked way to much, and i kinda lacked a point. Here, I'll make one up.

Never be mean, cuz you could loose your job.

Hey, thats why we have the word "ODD" in our title!

Thanks for reading and continue to look for positivity and clean humor in everyday situations.
